Stretch Marks and Scarring

Stretch marks may appear after a growth spurt, weight fluctuations, and after pregnancy. Stretch marks may initially be red and as they mature, become white due to loss of collagen and elastin in the skin. Scarring from trauma or injury, surgical scarring, or acne scarring may appear along with redness, texture changes, and thinning of skin.
When stretch marks are red, we can treat them with the ND Yag Vascular Laser and Limelight to target the superficial redness. We treat mature white stretch marks with Venus Legacy to target scarring and help rebuild lost collagen to firm and smooth the skin.  Redness over a surgical scar, trauma, acne, or injury can be treated with Laser Genesis and Limelight.
After pregnancy you may have a combination of a diet resistant fat pad with stretch marks and loose skin over top.  We recommend a combination of Venus Legacy along with Laser Genesis to treat all layers and improve shape, contouring, firmness and texture.
